A dwarf gourami may try to eat smaller shrimp cherry red. Not all gourami to eat shrimp, but I had few who did. The greater the difference in size between large and small shrimp gourami, the most likely to eat shrimp. Put lots of plants and spaces of underground caves and a few shrimp there to reduce the risk of predation. As for the paradise fish, again, is the same as with other types of gouramis.
